8 Sept, Lake Ross. Jim Measures Memorial Cup

Lake Ross near Spalding was the venue for Deeping to fish for the Jim Measures Memorial on a fine early Autumn day with perfect conditions.
Clear leader from peg 20 was Ray Torrington who fished a method feeder with banded pellet to the floating islands and also a jigger rig close in on corn take carp throughout most of the match. Then late on fished the margins with corn and paste to take better quality fish to weigh 170 lb 5 oz.
In second place was Colin Fisher on peg 19 who started up in the water before going to full depth close in with corn and paste to weigh 110 lb 12 oz.
Third was Tony Johnson on peg 13 fishing at ten metres with banded pellet to weigh 94 lb.
