The Club Cup was fished for today at Float Fish Farm.
7 club members turned up for an 8am draw on Horseshoe Lake.
The results sheet don’t really tell the whole story as it was a real struggle for some.
However, first on the day was David Pike on peg 18 weighing in 48lbs 14oz, David had a couple of early Carp and F 1s on the method with a pink wafter, changing after 2 1/2 hours to caster and chopped worms targeting silvers, landing Bream to 4lb in his silvers total of 31llb 15oz.
Second from fancied peg 1 was Phil Price with an all Carp net of 41lb 7oz. Phil caught on the method to the far bank and ended the match catching down his left edge on expanders.
