Permits are limited each year to 120 on this natural mature lake to ensure the quality of the fishing. You can join our waiting list - here

There is a parking area close to the arrival point at the lakeside, and subject to weather conditions vehicles can get even closer access to many of the pegged swims when the ground is dry and firm.
There are No non member Day Tickets, unless the angler is accompanied by a DSJAC Member who also holds the Horseshoe Lake permit.
DSJAC Members, who don’t hold a Lake permit may purchase a Day Ticket for their own use, but are NOT permitted to take guests onto Horseshoe Lake.
Day Tickets for the Lake can be purchased in advance from the Club Treasurer or Club Bailiff.
All gates must be kept closed
Fishing from 1st May to 31st March

What you could expect to catch:-
The Lake holds a mixed bag of species so whether fishing a match, hunting a specimen or pleasure fishing then this venue can give all. Stocked with Tench, Bream and Silver fish plus an abundance of Carp some in double figures.
