Deeping St James Angling Club were very pleased to receive their first stocking of 4000 Roach and 1000 Dace on Tuesday 11th November 2025. The fish came from the Environment Agency Calverton fish farm in Nottinghamshire. All were in excellent condition and released successfully into the club's match stretch of the River Welland at Deeping Roadside. This is the start of a program to bring the fish stocks back up to an acceptable level after recent years of heavy predation. #EnvironmentAgency
