DILS 2 Deeping Roadside

Deeping held their second match of the DILS Cup series and picked Deeping Roadside as the venue as all other Club waters seem out of sorts and require a good flush through. But members found the going extremely difficult with limited flow and clear water, the fish were shoaled up in just a few places.
The man on the fish and clear winner was Graham Wright fishing peg 12, he caught a fish a cast for the first two and a half hours on bread punch over crumb before bites dried up until the last twenty minutes.
He weighed an all roach catch of 8lb 15oz, this was his second win in the DILS which makes him strong favourite for the trophy which is won on the best 4 out of 5 matches.
In second place on peg 27 was David Marzell who fished maggot and pinkie to take small silvers to finish with 1lb 14 oz.
Third place went to Ray Torrington on peg 10 who managed to coax just 5 roach on bread punch for 1lb 12oz.
