Trevor’s catch was made up of some very small Bleak, Roach and Dace which came on the pinkie at 9m. Trevor had the blind cheek to boast he could have doubled his tally, but the fish kept dropping off whilst swinging them in.

Club Champion
Fished over 10 points matches in both the Summer and Winter during 2023 / 2024
Last years winner was Jason Chatham with a slender single point margin over Ray Torrington. But this year’s winner by a bigger and clearer margin of 28 points and a rounding off a great season haul of 8 Cups is Ray Torrington.

Specimen Cup
Best Specimen fish caught in 2023 / 2024
Some big fish were caught this year including a 15lber from Horseshoe, but Decoys Yew Lake provided a good list of specimens on the day. In any year a 17lb 4 oz fish would have won this cup but it was eclipsed by an 18lb 5oz beast on the same day by Steve Borrett.

Russel Hole Cup
The Russel Hole Trophy is given to a member of the club identified as going beyond what is expected of a club or committee member.
This year for running the continued work on Maintenance and work party organisation it goes to Andy Wilson.
